How records work

A record captures user-entered facts rather than a score or prediction. Compare batches later to see which changes coincided with the experience you preferred.

Privacy

Entries are kept in this browser’s local storage. Clearing browser data removes them; no account or server sync is involved.

How to use it

  1. Enter the method and date you want to compare later.
  2. Record measured coffee, water and brew-time values when they are relevant to that method.
  3. Add a concise note about what you observed in the cup.
  4. Review records with similar recipes and change one variable at a time in the next brew.

When this helps

A brew log is useful when you want your changes to be visible instead of relying on memory. It is a personal record, not a prediction engine: a note can show which changes coincided with your preference, but it cannot prove that one field caused the result.
